These tool lists are excerpts from the contract language for each of the respective classifications, for hand tools. 
Union members are not required to provide their own power tools - the employer provides them.
By contract, the employer also provides consumable items such as drill bits, hacksaw blades, etc., as well as wrenches >18" long, and specialized tools of all kinds.
