Decision 2016

There is much to do on the ground for the upcoming elections, especially with the Voter ID law in place – we are hoping to mobilize in our communities to help elect labor-friendly candidates who will continue to fight for working families! We Endorse Bernie Sanders for POTUS 2016

Join us next Wednesday, July 29th at 6pm at the Labor Temple (Room 201A-C) for our first Organizing meeting in conjunction with Bernie’s national campaign. There will be a live stream address from Bernie himself at 7pm. Bring your family, friends and co-workers to learn about Bernie! You will be able to sign up to volunteer for the campaign at this this event, if interested.

Right to Work Hearing

Subject: Tuesday – senate hearing and conference hall at Monona Terrace reserved for those who can attend

The Pipe Trades have reserved a room for 200 (with option to expand to 350) for Tuesday from 8 am to Noon at Monona Terrace.   Anyone who can be in Madison to attend the public hearing should feel free to gather there.    The time of the hearing has not been announced yet.   I'll keep you posted.

AFL-CIO Releases Voting Record for 2013-2014


The Wisconsin State AFL-CIO compiled a legislative scorecard to grade how well state legislators have served working families in the 2013-2014 Wisconsin Legislative Session.

The voting record tracks how lawmakers voted on issues of importance to workers, their families and their unions.
